Five Element Acupuncturist
Motivated by her own experience of the impact acupuncture can have as we navigate an increasingly stressful world, Charlotte re-trained as a practitioner in 2021. Completing her training under the supervision of a highly accredited practitioner in London further deepened her understanding of the Five Element theory and practice.
Five Element Acupuncture is a holistic approach to healthcare that originated in China over 2,000 years ago. It is based on the belief that health and wellbeing depend on the balance of the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. These elements represent different aspects of the natural world and are associated with specific organs, emotions and seasons.
Charlotte is a fully accredited and insured member of the British Acupuncture Council.

Integrative psychotherapist
As an integrative practitioner, I am trained in and have experience of working with the three main therapeutic approaches: psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive-behavioural. This diversity of thinking allows me to find the right approach for you and address the challenges you are currently facing.
I run a private practice based in Beckenham working with adults across a broad range of issues on a long-term basis. I also work as a Senior Psychotherapist and Assessor for a community counselling service.
I regularly attend workshops, seminars and other training sessions as part of my ongoing Continual Professional Development (CPD).
Art Psychotherapist
Art Therapy allows children or adults to communicate thoughts and feelings that are difficult to put into words. It helps people to make sense of things and understand themselves better, finding new ways to think about problems or difficult situations. It can help with emotional regulation, self-awareness, expression, communication and social connection. Art Therapy in the UK is regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Whether you are looking for support for yourself or for your child, my aim is the same- I offer a safe, non-judgmental, creative space to help my clients realize positive change in their lives.
You may be looking for help with a difficult life event or issue, or you may feel stuck, not thriving, and struggling to manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Through the art making we can begin to think about, and make sense of what is going on. You don’t need to be ‘good at art’.
My 10 years’ experience working with children with autism, ADHD and complex special educational needs has informed a friendly, flexible practice, tailored to the needs of each unique individual. I can also use a variety of communication aids including visual prompts, PECS, social stories and objects of reference where these feel useful.
I am fully insured and hold an enhanced D.B.S. I am also registered with both the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC (AS06904) and the British Association of Art Therapists (21217)
